Jon Allured is a web developer in the western suburbs of Chicago, Illinois. He’s a web standards advocate, usability nut and very picky web surfer. His passions go from bringing focus to a site by using documented strategy, to setting up rock-solid site foundations using open-source products when appropriate.
He’s among the fourth generation at an independent, family-owned, B-to-B publishing company concerned primarily with the beauty and personal-care industries, so magazines are in his blood. Although Jon graduated from National-Louis University with a degree in Management, turns out he’s all about the code.
